About the Author
As a child, Emilie filled her spare time reading and writing imaginative stories. She grew up immersed in creative expression–drawing, dancing, acting, singing, and writing which led her to study Theater Arts and Creative Writing at Fordham University. Always drawn to intense characters and music, she studied opera at the Manhattan School of Music. Afterward, she received her master’s in Music Education from Columbia University. She’s a married mom of two, living in New York, and when she’s not plotting novels, she plans music lessons and concerts for her elementary students.
